S.M.D.R.S.D College, Pathankot-the premier most institution of higher learning in District Pathankot was established in 1953 by Late Chaudhary Kesho Dass Ji, Ex. M.L.A., Pathankot. The institution was established with the sole aim of service to the society. Choudhary Kesho Dass Ji cherished a vision of providing higher education to the people of this backward area.
The founder President of the college, Choudhary Kesho Dass was highly intelligent, industrious and an enlightened person with a farsighted vision and dream.
